    Hi!

As seen on the linked page, only some thumbnails actually show up. The rest of the thumbnail images just have their src set to a 1×1 placeholder. This leaves holes inbetween the images that actually show.

It doesn’t seem to be a problem with the uploaded image, as the image shows fine when you click on the space where the thumbnail is supposed to be.

If I turn lazy loading off, it “fixes” the problem by simply removing the empty spaces. This just means the images with a broken thumbnail are lost completely.

Here is an album with screenshots of how it looks with lazyload on/off. Also a screenshot of the images I’ve actually added to the gallery (so you can see that some of them are missing).

    Thanks for the help!

  • Hi @lukasgjetting

It looks like Lazy Load is having trouble loading some of those images? That is a pre-loader image used for lazy loading while it prepares to load the image: https://cl.ly/81bb7c414bb5

Unfortunately it’s unable to grab the image. Have you tried turning lazy loading off? It sounds like there’s a possible conflict somewhere?

@aky01usa Thank you so much for the quick answer!

Yup, I have already tried to turn lazy loading off. As stated in the original post, that simply results in the gallery ignoring the “broken” images. You can see the result in the Imgur gallery I linked.

What can I do about these “conflicts”?

I think there may be some caching going on here because it still has the lazy loading class on the images.

Do you have a caching plugin or a lazy loading plugin activated on the site? If so, can you deactivate those.

Then install something like Transients Manager plugin. Once activated go to Tools >> Transients and click Delete All and see if that helps. It’s still trying to use lazy load even though you mentioned you’ve turned it off.

As for conflict testing. You can do this by deactivating each plugin 1 by 1 until the page loads properly (repeat this with the theme as well).

@aky01usa I have disabled all plugins except for Envira Gallery Lite, and changed the theme to Twenty Fifteen.

As you can see on the link (http://vbmc.dk/galleri/fjordloeb-2015), it still doesn’t work.

Hi 🙂 Yes I see that but I also see it’s still trying to use lazy load.

Can you please either try to delete all transients with this plugin or contact us through our form please?

    Thanks

    @aky01usa

I turned lazy loading back on after testing with it off. So it’s not a cache problem.

I will contact you through the form, thanks. 🙂
