somehow locked out

Hi, So I was making changes to my site yesterday with no problem. I went today to make some edits, but my password was rejected. I tried the lost password route a few times, but the generated passwords are not working. I then did some reading on manually changing the password through phpmyadmin but again had no luck there. Then I decided to go into phpmyadmin for a different wordpress install and copy the password and paste it into the one I am trying to access but still had no luck.
Any help out there?
