I added an event starting next Wednesday, repeating every Wednesday until the end of this month, but I got this strange error –

Event hidden from public view. This event ends after the next occurrence begins. Events must end before the next occurrence begins.

Event end date: May 28, 2025 2:00 pm. Next occurrence starts: May 4, 2025 3:00 am

    Makes no sense.

I am now getting this same error on every weekly event I try to post.

Check the dates you’ve set for the event. It sounds like you’ve set the end date for the event at the end of the month, instead of the end of the event.

A single event should have a start date and an end date that reference the actual continuous event. E.g., when do people arrive and leave. Most of the time, that’s a matter of hours, and the end date should be the same date.

Somehow I lost the thread on this because I did reply saying that the start date and end dates were correct but I’m getting this strange error on every event that repeats weekly. I am getting a lot of complaints from members that the calendar is a mess.

    Appreciate your help.

I figured it out. I deleted the first End Date and it’s fine now.

    Thanks.

Spoke too soon. I have an event that ends on May 28th but it’s not showing on the calendar for that day. How do I correct this?

    Well, here’s a new one!

My site notified me of a fatal error –

“WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager.”

It went on with a long complex list of what was wrong.
