…and it’s my own fault. I did something very stupid and spoiled your l-o-v-e-l-y keywords:

Besides the site I showed you before [Site A], I’m building a related one [Site B]. So I wanted to export the keywords from site A and import them to Site B.

One day when working at Site B, I noticed in the tools menu an option labeled “KTTG Importer.” Imagining that it was what I needed, I opened it and clicked “begin importing” for the default option.

Now a typical page looks like this–OUCH!

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78278455/Bazaar/KTTG-Mess.jpg

I figured out later that I had imported tags for the Easy Digital Downloads [EDD] plug-in.
    ____

Of course I deactivated KTTG immediately–the text returned to normal. Then I deleted it and installed a fresh copy as you explained for inheriting text attributes. The mess is still there.

After reading an eMail followup with instructions for how to do this correctly, I used the WP Importer to export from Site A and import to Site B, hoping it would fix the problem.

No such luck. I’m afraid to invest more time in this site until I clear up this mess. Is there an easy way to do it?

I’d be so grateful for your help. –Anna

P.S. As an experiment, I deactivated EDD and reactivated KTTG. The mess is as messy as ever.

    hhh

you feel like in scary movies, ok don’t panic All what you have to do is :

    • go to “My KeyWords” (to view all the list)
    • delete them all (keywords) even those in the trush

    verify now and come back

if you don’t like to delete them one by one
this plugin might help bulk delete
    use it carefully 😀

Done! After deleting the keywords, I re-imported them from Site A. Everything is back to normal.

You are so *W*O*N*D*E*R*F*U*L* !!! Thank you SO much for rescuing this “damsel in distress” from a very scarey nightmare.

To help popularize KTTG, I have added a link illustrating it in a temporary menu labeled “Plug-In Demos” at Site B:

    http://bazaar.typeheritage.com/partners/xyz/xyz-01/

I plan to retain this menu for six months or so to help developers of favorite plug-ins. I hope it will bring you many more fans as delighted as I am, Anna

P.S. What is the “KTTG Importer” tool supposed to do?

    Hi Anna
Fortunately! I like to solve problems and I appreciate your help 🙂 on your site
for “KTTG importer” this helps when you want to convert or import keywords from other plugins doing the same job installed on your site like “wordpress-tooltip” …
soon I will create a FAQ and a tutorial page to explain the KTTG features
