    Cloudflare reports that the amount of unique visitors to my website has remained constant this past 30 days. Google Search says the amount of clicks on my posts remained constant past 30 days. Even bing reports that.

    but for some reason, this plugin has been showing some WILD variations. Some days I get over 100 unique visitors, others 30-40? All the while nowhere else are these jumps happening?

    Here some images for example. Stable 7 days according to cloudflare, absurdly varied according to the plugin:

    Hi @peq42,

    Thank you for sharing the details and screenshots.

    There are a few reasons why WP Statistics might show different numbers compared to other services:

    Please check if “Bypass Ad Blockers” is enabled.
    It helps track users with ad blockers, which services like Cloudflare or Google might miss.
    You can find it here:
    Statistics > Settings > General > Bypass Ad Blockers

    Also, see if “Do Not Track (DNT)” is turned on.
    If it’s off, WP Statistics might still count users who prefer not to be tracked.
    The setting is here:
    Statistics > Settings > Privacy & Data Protection > Do Not Track (DNT)

    Finally, it might be related to bot filtering.
    Some bots not blocked in the plugin settings can be counted as visitors.
    Check this under:
    Statistics > Settings > Filtering & Exceptions

    Let us know if adjusting these helps.
