Hi CodeWooGeek – we are experiencing the same.
@bdgardengirl – were you able to resolve this by chance?
Kind of, I think? I found this article on their site – https://codewoogeek.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000181432-how-to-get-rid-of-something-went-wrong-error, and then turned off caching for those specific pages. It does seem to work, but is not a great solution.
Yea, we’re getting the same hosting on WPengine. Premium WP hosts like WPengine, Flywheel, Kinsta etc deal with the caching sever side and AFAIK don’t offer options to change the caching time. It wouldn’t be best practice to do so anyway.
We can’t afford to turn off Caching on all product pages, that would completely defeat the point in caching in the first place.
Is there a better solution?
Couldn’t you generate the nonce from the WP dashboard so we could still have cache active on the front end?
We’re moving over to an alternative plugin which doesn’t seem to have the same limitations – https://woocommerce.com/products/back-in-stock-notifications/
Same problem here, and looks like the plugin editor have no solution but disabling caching, which is not a viable solution for an ecommerce website…
