“Something went wrong” error when saving in Settings tab

    Hello guys,

    I am using the free core version of LifterLMS to see if I will purchase the paid bundles but having trouble using it.

    When I try to save (any tab) in settings the “Oops.. something went wrong” error occurs. See screenshots below for system report.

    Is this a mismatch between the theme or any other plug-in with LifterLMS?

    Hi Toyin,

    Thanks for your reply. After I flushed the permalinks I still receive the same error when trying to save anything on the settings page. Any other suggestions?

    Also, when I try to re-run the setup wizard it gives me an “Action failed. Please refresh the page and try again.” error. Both after I deleted the plugin and re-installed and after flushing the permalinks.

    Hi @sduindam

    Sorry, you’re still facing this issue.

    Could you temporarily disable all plugins except LifterLMS to see if this changes anything? If it does, kindly re-activate the plugins one after the other to see if there’s a conflict.

    No succes. After I deactivated all plugins I encountered the same error. Are there any other things I could check?

    I’m sorry but I’m out of ideas what may be going on here. Is it possible for you to create a video showing this issue(with all plugins except LifterLMS deactivated) so we can determine what may be happening here?

    Hi @sduindam,

    Thank you for sending the video over.

    Can you send your error log as well? You can enable the PHP error log by following this guide: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-debug-a-white-screen/#log. Please use services like Imgur, Dropbox, or Pastebin to share your error log.

    Once the log has been enabled, kindly try to repeat the process of disabling all plugins except LifterLMS and try to save something in the settings again. Then you can copy the contents in the error log.

    Hi @sduindam,

    I got one of our developers to take a look at your log and there was nothing wrong with the report.

    So we feel, this might be a host issue. It may be that the nonce is not verified or your host doesn’t expose the env REQUEST_METHOD.

    Kindly check with your host or move to another host that supports this.
