Ok, just checked my error log. For some unknown reason the ‘css’ and ‘js’ folders didn’t exist in ‘cache/asset-cleanup’. I just created them and now it works fine.
Is this a bug?

Hi,
I have the same issue.
The folder disappears after a while and when I recreate it, the combining works well.
Sometimes it also helps to clear the cache of Asset CleanUpPro, but not always. It’s really strange.
I opened a ticket for pro users a month ago but no one responded.
The plugin is excellent and helpful but the pro support is disappointing!
Please fix this issue.

It seems that the css and js folders are deleted when the cache is cleared. Afterwards they are not recreated and the files are no longer combined. It is very annoying.

@codigopiton @starkswebdesign You guys are right and my sincere apologies for this inconvenience! I’ve released a fix and it’s available on the development version: https://assetcleanup.com/docs/how-to-get-the-development-version-of-asset-cleanup/ – until the next tag is released, please use this one OR if you’re comfortable, you can replace the current file you have on your WordPress environment /wp-content/plugins/wp-asset-clean-up/classes/FileSystem.php with the following one: https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/export/2402106/wp-asset-clean-up/trunk/classes/FileSystem.php.
Hi, @gabelivan, I just replaced the FileSystem-php file. It seems to work. I’ll tell you in a few days. Thanks!
@codigopiton that’s great! You can also update to the latest version now (that was just released) which has the fix π
Updated! Now everything works flawlessly. Thanks again, @gabelivan!
Same for me.
Thanks a lot!
