    My signup form no longer works. Checking the settings, it said there was no list in Mailchimp. In trying to reconnect, I got an error about Sopresto. So whatever authorization is going on there seems new or is no longer working. Here’s the web error…

    Google Chrome could not load the webpage because sopresto.socialize-this.com took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.

    I haven’t updated anything recently, so not sure where the change came from that caused the linkage between WordPress and MailChimp to no longer work.

    I have a message about this issue directly from MailChimp tech support:

    We have been experiencing an issue with our socialize-this domain that affects users working with the Social (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/social/) and MailChimp Subscribe Form (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/mailchimp/) plugins for WordPress. This prevents users from connecting account and lists to their WordPress sites via these plugins. Our Development team is aware of and looking into resolving this issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and appreciate your patience with this issue.

    Thanks for your patience, and I’ll be posting again once I get the all-clear.

    Issues with the socialize-this domain have been resolved and users of this plugin should now be able to reconnect without any timeout errors.
