Sorry, newbie here. Multiple WP installs, multiple databases?

    I’m extremely new to WordPress (looked at it or the first time about 10 minutes ago) and I now want to install it for a few of my domains which are hosted on the same server (I have total access to the servers).

    Question: do I need to create a separate database for each domain? Or one single WordPress database with different users?

    Apologies for the extreme noob question…

    You would use a new database for each install

    if you wanted to call the same data for each website you could use one database but i am assuming thats not the case so go for one database per website
