Sort By Connection Info

Awesome plugin!

We are linking two custom post types to each other. For each connection, we also have some meta data on the connection link itself.

When we display the information to the user, we have a requirement to display it sorted by one of the meta data fields on the link.

Is this possible to do? I am thinking it is not, but would like to confirm.

If this is not available now, could a feature request be submitted?
