Hi @eppz,
It sorts products based on the total number of sales, regardless of the time period. It’s a cumulative count, meaning it considers all sales from when the product was first added to your store. It doesn’t sort based on a specific week, month, or year.
It’s a great way to highlight your most successful products to your customers.
I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Hey, @eppz!
the issue is the order of the products thats appearing on the front-end when i sort them by popularity is in conflict with the sales reports i get from woocommerce. what could be the issue?
Do you mind sharing more details on the issue so we can investigate it further?
How different it is? Is it showing completely different products? Or showing correct products on the wrong order? Or something else?
Can you please share a full screenshot of the page on your website and also a screenshot from Analytics > Products? Please make sure to set the date filter to include the whole time your store was live. You can share more than one if it does not fit on the screen.
I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a wonderful day!
