Hello, I have a problem with comments on our WordPress site. I want to sort the comments by rating. So, a 5-star review is at the top, a 4-star review is below it, etc. Is it possible to do this?

I know it is not possible to do this from wordpress settings. It is possible to sort by time. But I want to sort by score. How can I do this as code or something?

If you do not work in code and need to tweak one of these to work for you, I recommend you hire a WordPress developer. Check out jobs.wordpress.net and codeable.io

If the rating is saved in comment meta and you know under which meta_key it is stored, you can alter the comment query’s “orderby” query var value to be that of the meta_key through the “pre_get_comments” action hook. This solution does require some custom coding.
