Hi @mlholmquist –
It is not possible to do that without some programming. I could try to create some code for a special shortcode that you could enter manually. You would need to add it to your child theme’s functions.php file, create a custom plugin, or use something like the Code Snippets plugin (which is what I do). If that would help you then let me know and I’ll write and post the code for that.
In the future, I could add the code to the plugin, but it would take some testing on different PHP versions, etc, which I don’t have time for now. I have on my list to do some work on the Yada Wiki plugin, but there is no scheduled date as my to do list is very long. I’m sorry there is not more certainty.
Best regards,
David
If you have time to write the code, that would be amazing. I know I could quickly add it to the functions.php file, or if it’s easier for you I could check out Code Snippets and do it that way. It’s not urgent, but it sure would be helpful. Thanks so much for your responsiveness and diligence!

Hi @mlholmquist – The ability to sort a category by date descending has been added to the plugin. You should see that option in the popup dialog. Please give it a try and confirm that it works for you.
Best regards,
David
It works PERFECTLY in the TOC Category page – THANK YOU!
Do I have to do something special to make it work in the Widget for the sidebar? I don’t see the DESC option there. As you can tell, I’m pretty new to all of this. Sorry.

Hi @mlholmquist – I only added it to the editor shortcode. Do you also need that option in the sidebar widget?
Best regards,
David
If you have time, that would be great!
