Sortable archives in 2005 WordPress versions

    Hi,

    I’m interested in rearranging my archives into this format:
    http://binarybonsai.com/archives/

    i.e.

    20XX
    Month: (# posts)
    Month: (# posts)
    …

    Is the only way to do this using the “Sortable nicer archives” plugin? Does that plugin work for newer versions of WordPress?
