sorting by date

    Hello, I am making tables that have a date column and i need it to be sorted by date. I am using the format dd/mm/yyyy. I installed and activated TablePress Extension: DataTables Sorting plugins but it still does not seem to recognise the date in the column it just sorts them as if they were numbers. Could you please help me figure it out please?

    i’d rather not put the link here. it is a table with three columns date name and result and it just needs to be ordered by date

    Hi,

    there are many factors that could affect this, and taking a look would allow me to directly investigate this.
    Can you then maybe email me a link? The address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.
