    Hi,

My tables seem to be sorting as text, not numbers — similar problem to here, but a different theme (Tiny Forge). There’s an example on my site here. I assume it’s a javascript error but I can’t see where. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry! Actually, that’s not a good example, as it looks like it is sorting correctly. The problem is on a post I’m writing, and I’m not sure that it is a text vs number problem — it’s mostly sorting correctly, but one entry is out of order. When I post it I’ll let you know — please ignore this for the moment. Sorry again.

    Hi Brian,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

For the correct detection of the sorting algorithm, it’s necessary that all cells in that column have the same data type (numbers in this case).
If you think that’s the case, but it’s still sorting wrong, just let me know with the link and I’ll take a look!

    Regards,
    Tobias

I’m back. I deleted the problem cell and re-entered the data, and it sorts correctly now. Thanks again.
