    Hi,
    For our use case, we have a lot of similarly named lessons within different courses. Because of this, within the Lessons admin page, the only way to differentiate between them is by looking at the Course and Section columns on this page.

    Is it possible to add in drop down filters at the top of the page for course and section to help navigate this page as I can see it growing to hundreds very quickly in a lot of use cases?

    I have tried a few of the functions.php solutions, but keep running into the issue that these are based on filtering by taxonomies (which it looks like course and section are not). Is there any plan to add drop down filtering to the admin pages? Or do you have any suggestions on how I can add them in? What are course and section (custom taxonmies/post types/or other)?

    Kind Regards,
    Jason

  • @jstead,

    I’m sorry we haven’t built this yet, it’s been on my backlog to imporove the usability for exactly your use case. I simply haven’t written the code yet. As you may imagine as a small team our backlog grows every day and only gets items completed every few weeks. We’ll get this out eventually and I’m sorry we haven’t done so yet.

    Thanks for you patience,

    completely understand and thank you for the great work.

    I found a plugin that ‘kinda’ works, but should hold us out (it filters by the section/course bu only displays ID numbers, not name. So just need an ID>name cheat sheet while working on it).

    If I get anything working better i’ll post it here.

    @jstead,

    Thanks for understanding and please let us know if you do find a better alternative.

    Best of luck,
