Sorting products

the products don’t seem to sort by “place” (as they do on spreadshirt itself). i’ve tried setting “place” both in the settings and by using shortcode.

as an alternative, would there be a way to sort products by “price,” but have them most expensive to least expensive? thanks for any help!
