How do i get my table to sort by date?

I would like the column C to be sorted as date format dd-mm-yy rather than text.
I’ve read a previous post on this question but I am unable to understand what to do (ie what code do I add where).

    Have you considered either

    1. Researching the parts of the previous answer you didn’t understand?
    2. Asking someone to clarify the parts of the previous answer you didn’t understand?

I’m closing this question as ‘resolved’ immediately because you’ve just pointed out that there’s an existing answer to this question and, frustrating as it may be, the fact that you didn’t understand it doesn’t mean an answer wasn’t provided.

If you want more detailed answers, ask for more details, don’t just repeat the same question answered elsewhere. (Obviously?)

Yes I researched for quite some time and went around in circles, otherwise I would not have wasted both our time by posting the question, obviously(?). Foreign terminology makes it hard to know what the right questions are to ask. If you’d like more people to donate to your plugin you may consider taking a little bit of time to help those who are not ‘code savvy’ rather than making them feel inferior.

You researched for quite some time and still could not come up with a question that asked for details? Yikes.

If I was writing this code for the money, I wouldn’t have made a free plugin in the first place. Also, if you’ve actually actually researched this forum for quite some time, you’ll see that unlike many other plugin authors, I answer literally every post posted here, and I do it, as you’ve so eloquently pointed out, without being paid to do so.

People who don’t have the willingness or the capability to ask clear questions are not going to get clear answers. Hate to be the one to break this to you, buddy, but that’s how FREE support forums work. Good luck elsewhere.

the reason why people don’t find what they are looking for is the fact that the search function isn’t only searching the threads that belong to a particular plugin, but the whole of wordpress, which is detrimental IMHO.

and just because your plugin is free (and you don’t code for money) gives you the right to insult people. a lot of free plugins are thrown here but the authors are courteous enough to say ‘NO, I DON’T WANT TO HELP YOU.’

the only reason i think your plugin is thriving is the fact that no one else does it better. had there been an alternative, well, you know what the answer is.

If you compare the number, depth, and speed of responses from other plugin authors and compare those with mine, you’ll see a clear trend. I think one of the things I do better than many other plugin authors is answer support requests on these forums. You are free to disagree with me about that, of course, but your failure to find answers to questions I’ve answered many times, for whatever reason, are not *my* failures, and that’s all I have to say about that.

Dear WordPress forum moderators, please consider closing this thread to new replies. Thank you.
