source code displaying horizontally

    Hi,
    I noticed that the resulting source code of my site made with wordpress is displaying mainly horizontally, 20 lines that keep running horizonally.

    I don’t think this is normal.
    I tried to install some default themes and to deactivate plugins I installed recently but the problem persists.
    Any idea on why is this happening and if it is harmful anyway?

    Hi Mik

    Not harmful. This is often done to reduce the size of the files that a user has to download.

    Doesn’t look neat, but shouldn’t affect the usability of your site at all.

    After I read what you said I found out the plugin that is making this behaviour.
    It is autoptimize, for the reduction of file size.

    you can always untick the “optimize HTML”-option and your source will be back to normal 🙂
