Spacing & Formatting Issues My Website
-
Hello All,
I’ve just built a new website for my parent company and I’m having spacing and formatting issues on several pages on the site. Below, I will give code and details on the specific issues and links to those pages.
1) Home Page: http://audiencefirstcomm.com/
–>The columns below the slider are uneven. The last column is up higher than the first two and I’d like to make it level to the first two. I’ve tried adding and removing spaces but it’s not correcting the issue.
–>The spacing below the columns, between them and the short bio, is an issue. As you can see, I add the HTML code on the front page (in the visual editor) because I couldn’t get it to work in the HTML editor. When I added it to the HTML editor, it “disappeared” when I saved the page and the profile photo ended up on the right side of the page under the third column with the text wrapping around it to the right of the photo and under it.
Here’s the code for the front page:
<p> [huge_it_slider id="1"] </p> <h2 style="text-align: center;"> <br /> <span style="color:#696969;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="background-color:#ADD8E6;">Audience First Communications introduces the new content marketing equation:</span></span></strong></span> </h2> <h2 style="text-align: center;"> <span style="color:#000080;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="background-color:#ADD8E6;">Relevance + Reach = Revenue</span><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="background-color:#ADD8E6;">SM</span></span></span></strong></span> </h2> <p> </p> <p> [bscolumns class="one_third"] </p> <p style="text-align: center;"> <img alt="Is your message relevant to your audience?" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113" height="128" src="http://audiencefirstcomm.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Relevant.png" width="128" /> </p> <h3 style="text-align: center;"> <strong>Relevance</strong> </h3> <p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Your content needs to be relevant to your audience to connect with them. In the visual editor, I make the header fonts bold and place the correct spacing above and below them. When I save the page and go look at it live, it shows up the way it does, as if I did not make the changes. I need “Corporate Content Writing” and “Content Writing Consulting” to look like “Content Writing Training”. Here’s the code for that page.

–>I’d like the header at the top of the page to NOT say “Category: Blog” but rather “Blog”.
–> I’d like the picture that’s in the blog article to show up as a thumbnail on the main blog page. I’d like all the articles I add to show a thumbnail. I’ve added it as a “Featured Image” but it’s still not showing up as a thumbnail.
4) Links and bolded text across the site is shrinking a font size.
If you look at the blog article (http://audiencefirstcomm.com/debunking-the-measurement-myth-digital-marketing-roi-is-measurable/) you’ll see this issue I’m referring to. The text is 14 pt (or it’s supposed to be). Whenever I add links or bold text, it shrinks the font size down to what appears to be 12 or 13 pt. How do I fix that across the site so it’s the same font as the rest of the text on each page?
Thank you. I appreciate your help.
