• We all get spam. I use Askimet to tell it to take a blue pill and call me in the morning. But, I do glance through the trash.

I was a bit amazed when a WordPress affiliate popped up. I found it unattractive. I don’t consider it malicious or as self-serving as most of them are. Unattractive pretty well covers it.

  • I’m not sure I’d call that a WP affiliate…..

Well, lets make that affiliate wannabe then. 🙂

He is a definite comment spammer according to Honeypot so I’ll also up that “just unattractive” to a more negative view.

I’m not clear what your question is, but anyway I removed some details from the original post. The IP and email are most likely either fake or belong to someone else, and if the comment was spam, probably no sense in leaving the URL for all to see.

Well, the URL is listed on the net as a comment spamming site. It is all over the place.

I just found it interesting that someone doing WP themes was a spammer. It is that mix of smart:dumb that makes the world a unique place.
