    Hi @albertus59 ,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear that you’re encountering spam issues.

If you’re still receiving spam even with reCAPTCHA v2 (Invisible) enabled, you can try increasing the security level of your reCAPTCHA setup. To do this, please log in to your reCAPTCHA account. Then, in the settings of your current integration, you can adjust the Security Preference slider.

If you’d prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, you can also consider using hCaptcha, which works similarly and is a good alternative. We have a detailed guide for setting up hCaptcha

Another option is to enable  Akismet, which is one of the top anti-spam protection plugins on ww.wp.xz.cn to your forms. You should be able to seamlessly set this up by following the instructions here.

Alternatively, you can consider the third-party plugins such as WordPress Zero Spam or Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk which work out of the box to protect your forms against spam.

Regarding the entries not appearing in your weekly summary, could you please share more details about what you’re seeing? It would also be helpful if you could provide a screenshot so we can better understand the issue and assist you further.

    Thanks!

Thanks for your response, I think I understand what happened.
I activated reCAPTCHA in settings but did not activated in the already existing form.
    Activated Aksimet also now.
I think/hope it will be solved now. Lesson to RTFM

    Spam looked like this:

    blah bla text
and sender a website like website.com

I still don’t understand why the spam did not show up in the weekly report but it’s less important.
    Thanks again!

    Hi @albertus59 ,

You’re very welcome. Glad to hear that you were able to track that down! 🙂

ReCAPTCHA needs to be enabled within each form as well, so once that’s set up (along with Akismet), it should help reduce or block those kinds of submissions.

Regarding the weekly summary, if you’re still curious about that, feel free to share a screenshot and we can take a closer look.

If anything else comes up, don’t hesitate to reach out—happy to help!
