Spam attacks crash server

    Hello guys

    mi wordpress multisite is having pics of loads thats sometimes make crash the server

    first i think this was caused by bad configuration of server or wordpress installation, but i move from hosting, disable wp cron, installa w3 total cache, APC, etc and the problem persists

    so now, the only chance is an spam attack

    the pic of loads, generally coincides with pics of apache volume

    and some comments like this

    i have cloudflares and askimet but this spam pass this firewalls

    i had to disable the pingbacks and the native comments for the facebook commens, even i delete wp-comments-post.php!!!

    but guess what! the spam still pass :S

    what can i do ?

    You’ll need to get your firewall on your server to start blocking this sort of attack.

    Ask your webhost if they have a setup for it.
