Spam emails

I had this plugin installed for 4 weeks. In that time I received no fewer than 12 marketing style emails, roughly 3 every week, or one every other business day. The emails were poorly worded, one-hundred-percent irrelevant, and simply wanted me to pay to upgrade the free plugin I’d just downloaded.

RankMath didn’t wait until I’d seen some results before aggressively marketing their services in solicitation emails to which I did NOT subscribe. Hell, they didn’t even wait until I’d gotten the software configured before sliding into my DMs aggressively.

Complain about the Plugin developer’s smarmy sales and marketing tactics and they’ll petulantly remove you from their service. They’d literally rather lose customers than regulate their aggressive and smarmy sales tactics.

It’s rare that I see this level of intransigence. Arrogance. Childish retributive nature. Immaturity. Not to mention the lack of professionalism that this little tantrum of Bhanu’s is demonstrative of.

There is nothing special about this plugin. Literally nothing. That you’ll be bombarded with marketing emails the second you download it should tell you everything you need to know about RankMath; and is, quite frankly, a clear indication that you should go elsewhere with your SEO needs.

Remember, you’ll never be a client to RankMath. To them, you’re merely a mark. You’ll never be a valued customer, just another rich Westerner on which Bhanu can take advantage. Or at least, that’s exactly what he’s demonstrated here.
