    Hello,

    Thank you for your request.

Please try clearing the cache on your website (caching plugins).
Let me know if this helps.

    Best regards,

This was definitely a cache issue of some kind. The browser time and the page generation time are different.

Hi, I’m jumping on this ticket because we’re having the same issue.

We’ve had quite a few of our customers (LMS learners) get in touch to say they are getting this message when working on their courses – https://app.screencast.com/o604VRCCPcIIL

Apart from telling them to clear their cache, what can we do to ‘manage’ this situation so that our customers don’t get this negative experience?

Or is it something on their end that we can make them aware of that is causing them the issue?

To fully understand ‘Why’ they are getting this message would be very helpful.

Otherwise, the plugin is doing a fantastic job of eliminating the 100’s of Spam User accounts that were being added every week to our website 🙂

    Thanks in advance

    @alanrogers Hi,

Your situation is different. SpamFireWall blocked the IP address in your screenshot. If you trust this address, then please add it to your personal lists:

    https://cleantalk.org/my/show_private?service_type=spamfirewall

    The guide is here:

    https://cleantalk.org/help/sfw-blacklist-usage

    Did it help?

    Hi Serge,

    Thanks for the quick response.

Well it does somewhat, but doesn’t really explain why it might be identifying these people as spam, and whether there is anything to do to prevent Users being flagged before it happens.

To be honest, I’m not sure what % of Users it’s affecting, as it’s just been reported to me since I got back from vacation this week. I will speak to someone in the business to find out exactly how big an issue this is.

Can you give me any idea on why these Users may be blocked by the Firewall, so we can at least have some more understanding and provide a solution to the User.

And, what should happen if they click on the link provided on the screen? I don’t know, as I haven’t had this experience myself.

    Really, I just want to:

    a) reduce the friction this can cause, and

    b) limit the likelihood of Users giving up on the system, requesting a refund, and leaving a bad review.

    Does that make sense?

Thank you for your response @alanrogers

The screenshot you sent displays the 3-second blocking screen of CleanTalk’s Spam FireWall.
You can learn how it works and how to configure it here:

The IP was blocked because of our system detected brute-force attempts. We need more details to investigate this. Please gather all possible details and contact us via our private Ticket System:

    Thanks Serge, I will do.

Can you let me know what details would you need to further investigate this, please?

    dgmaximiliano,

This means the page is being served from the cache. If you don’t have a caching plugin installed, as you mentioned earlier, the cache is likely on your hosting server. Clear it there.

If you want to re-enable the SpamFiewWall option, try adding our plugin’s files to the caching exclusions and then clear the cache again.

I logged into my server and went to the Litespeed Cache panel, but it was disabled for that domain. I went ahead and clicked “Flush Cache” anyway. After giving it some thought, I finally figured it out! In the domain’s zone editor, the “www.” was still pointing to the Quic Cloud CDN! It’s fixed now. thanks
