Spam is getting through

I set up 2 WordPress’s…one at http://dawnswebdesigns.xenweb.net & one at http://awisealternative.com. The one at AWiseAlternative.com is fine. The one at my own site is getting spammed out the yahoo.

I’ve checked off can’t post comments unless registered/logged in…& people can’t even register…yet I’ve got spam? I’ve got it marked comments can’t be posted without admin approval…yet they sit in moderation AND are posted…& sometimes I’m not even notified. I had 2 pages of spam posted without my approval. So is this a bug or has someone broken into my site?

And I’ve gotta ask…what good is reporting spam to sites like yours (or MySpace or others)? What do you do with the reports? Cuz no matter how many times I report there’s always more…many times the same jerks over & over again. When will we start prosecuting spammers/cyber-stalkers? Cuz only then might the BS stop.
