    hi guys
I’ve been the victim of spam on the a website i’ve created.
I get different kind of texts with link under the header banner, like “who takes levitra”. In the past I re-installed the latest version of wordpress and it worked, but now it does not. I have read a few articles on which files to check for spam too.

any ideas how to fix it??

    the website is:

    http://montepittman.com/

FYI I only see the spam message via Google Chrome. When I visit the site via Firefox I can’t see it.

First read this and follow the steps:

    https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked

If you don’t already use WordFence, you might want to install that to help prevent and catch hacks in the future.

I also like Rename wp-admin, even though it’s not supported anymore.

You might need to scan your files for the word “levitra”. If the hackers haven’t encoded it some way, then you might be able to find the infected file that way.
