Spam Posts

I use wordpress as a basic website.
I do not have a posts page nor do I allow comments.
I am getting spam posts. They do not show up anywhere except when I am in admin and I look at the posts. Is there a way to stop/block all posts?
How is the spammer posting?
These posts will show up if somebody does a search and something matches.
