Spam Registration

    I have been waking up to spam account registrations for a few months now. I have an active akismet. I just added a new google captcha key, but they don’t show up on the user registration page. I also checked the box in the wp job manager settings to email users their password link set up , but anyone can go that link and just sign up with no verification.

    I don’t remember this being like this? When did security features get removed, and how to I put them back on?

    The user registration is handled completely by WordPress and not by WP Job Manager.

    Do you have account creation enabled in the Job Submission settings? If so, CAPTCHA should handle the job submission part to prevent bot signups. However, if users manually sign up without a bot, they can still complete CAPTCHA and go through with the process.
