Spam subscriptions to empty lists

    Hi,

    I am using the free version of Email Subscribers and have been having issues with spam subscriptions, primarily from Russia. Under “Audience”, the “List(s)” field associated with the subscription is empty, whereas I only have one list named “Main”.

    How can someone subscribe to a list other than “Main”? Any suggestions on how to avoid these subscriptions? I’ve installed the IP Geo Block plugin, which has helped, but I still see a few subscriptions.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reporting the issue.

    We have released a new version(4.6.12) of the Email Subscribers plugin which addresses this issue. This new version adds an extra layer of security to reduce such spam subscriptions.

    Please update to the latest version and let us know if how it goes.
