I get several spam user registrations daily for a free course. I have set up e-mail verification, so they don´t get any further, but I have to delete the false users. How can I avoid this?

    Hi @sulfsby,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Spam registrations are unfortunately common on free course websites, especially when public registration is enabled. Since you already enabled email verification, that is a good first step because it prevents many fake accounts from becoming active.

To reduce these spam registrations further, we recommend trying the following:

    • Enable Google reCAPTCHA on the registration form
    • Enable the strong password feature for user registrations
    • Use a security plugin such as Wordfence or CleanTalk

You can follow these guides to configure them:
