Spammer signups!

    Help!

    I’ve had great experience so far, though every once and a while I’d have some spambot sign up, and I’d get an email notification and go in and delete that record in the participants list.

    Today all of the sudden I’m getting 5 spam signups every minute. I need this to stop. Is there any way to add some spam-detecting captcha? I couldn’t find that option in the settings.

    If you’re publishing signups without moderation, you’ll attract spam registrations, that’s just the kind of thing they’re looking for.

    Adding a CAPTCHA is not hard, just go to the manage database fields page and add a new field to a group that is in your signup form. Then designate that new fields as CAPTCHA and it will screen your submissions. Make sure it’s enabled for the signup form.
