Edit the widget settings to remove the span tags in the title, perhaps?

No PHP file, it looks like you put those into your Widget. Those are not part of the plugin.

No in the Title section of the widget all I have type in Like Us On Facebook! if I remove that, which I will so you can see, it will just show <span></span>.

The span tags don’t come from the plugin, I assure you.

They might come from the theme if it’s specifying them as the before_title and after_title parameters in the sidebar registration.

hey, we are encountering similar issues with the Facebook plugin. Unable to get rid of the <span></span> tags. ‘mreel’ I noticed your site no longer has them, how did you resolve that?

*NOTE* – Sam Wood, it does not appear to be the theme because no other widgets on the sidebar have that problem.

    Thanks!

mea culpa. after much digging it turns out it WAS the theme, a rogue code at the end of the script. Fixed.
