Hello @nocabt,
I activated the SparkPost API key successfully. Here’s a GIF for reference: https://share.zight.com/o0u1AWj9.
It might be a temporary glitch. Could you try copying and pasting the key again and then saving it?
Additionally, here’s a guide on configuring SparkPost with SureMail: https://suremails.com/docs/sparkpost/.
If the issue persists, please email us at [email protected] with additional details on how to replicate the problem so we can troubleshoot further.
Best regards,

Thanks for the quick followup! I think I may have figured this out. We use subaccounts in Sparkpost for every client. However, when I tested with a subaccount it didn’t work. When using an API key / domain in our main account it worked.
So, it seems like Suremail might not work with Sparkpost when the API key is assigned to a sub account? It’s worth noting that I tested two other SMTP plugins that have Sparkpost support and they worked well with sub accounts.
Happy to share more details with support or here as requested.
