Special characters

My clients old website has some URL’s with special characters that are indexed by Google. The redirects are saved with the special characters, but the redirect does not work.

Example: “é”

Source URL: /andré-hazes-jr-boeken
Target-URL: https://artiestenburo2010.nl/artiesten/artiesten/Andre-Hazes-jr-boeken/

There’s a 404 error on the source website instead of redirecting me to the target website.
