Specific Categories/Archive Pages

    Great plugin. I appreciate the ability to enable/disable by post/page ID. Is there a similar way to approach archive pages (categories/tags), perhaps some filter I could hook into or action to add/remove on my archive.php templates for example?

    Hello,

    I’m sorry, the current version of the plugin includes only the following options to display or not the loading screen:

    – homepage only
    – all pages
    – the specific pages (one, or more IDs separated by the comma symbol)

    If you want to exclude the loading screen from the archive pages would be required customize your copy of the plugin.

    1. Open the “/wp-content/plugins/loading-page/loading-page.php” file with the text editor of your choice.

    2. Go to the piece of code:

    $loadingScreen = loading_page_loading_screen();

    and check if the webpage is a singular page, or if it has multiple entries:

    $loadingScreen = (is_singular()) ? loading_page_loading_screen() : false;
