Specific need for Countdown Timer

    I’m looking for a very specific function for a countdown timer (I actually need it to count up).

    I’m looking for a counter that can count from 1-7 (1 per day), but skips the weekend. It’s for our restaurant. We offer a 7 day menu cycle, but we’re closed on weekends. We want to offer online ordering, so we need a way to let visitors know what Kitchen Day it is.

    Can this timer do that?

    Not really, no.
    But it sounds like you don’t need a timer, so much as day-based content.
    This could be done in a much simpler way, without the use of a countdown timer.

    First, investigate some Timed Content plugins out there, and see if these meet your specific needs. If not, you can build this quite easily with a very little bit of PHP knowledge.
