• I am seeing broken image links to images that have previously been uploaded to my profiles.

When I try to resave the image I get this error ‘Specified file failed upload test.’

The image was in the Featured Wine section. I have been able to delete the file but unable to upload a new image.

    WordPress: 6.8.3
    BuddyPress: 14.4.0
    BuddyPress XProfile Image Field: 3.1.0

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi David,

Check your server file permissions. It seems the file does not save to the server for some reason. Also confirm you have sufficient disk space.

The server has plenty of space and the file permissions are set to default across the site.
What if the director it is saving to? Perhaps this is something that is being blocked by security settings.

The error is coming from deep within WordPress and so it’s not likely to be the plugin. Share with me that file(s) that you are trying to upload so I can test. Perhaps there’s something about them. They need to be exactly what you’re trying to upload, down to file names and sizes. Also, describe to me anything else you did, other than delete the previous files.

This is the image. I can see it has been added to the server ok. But when is saved from within the profile I get the error. I can seven see multiple versions uploaded with -x added to the file name for each version.

I can see from the URL that the image has been saved properly. The plugin is working fine.

What do you mean by “saved from within the profile”? Could you detail the steps that you are taking to reproduce the problem? Also, could you send me a screenshot of the files with an “-x” appended?
