No Ultimate Member is not an email sender for your emails.
You define v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all for your domain sending the emails via Google Workspace not for any Ultimate Member domain.
SPF allows senders to define which IP addresses are allowed to send mail for a particular domain.
Have you setup DKIM and DMARC for your domain?
I see. I’m still getting the spam / phishing notice after doing that.
I’ve setup DKIM but not the DMARC yet. I think I’ve read I have to wait around 48 hours before setting up DMARC?
I saw this on my Gmail SPF: SOFTFAIL with IP 72.167.234.242 and GoDaddy support made a TXT record of v=spf1 include: softfail 72.167.234.242 ~all for me, is that correct?

Yes all these settings are cached so you must wait for a while.
