    hi,

    How I can control the timing of the splash screen?

    I have also another issue: I modify the plugin settings and save them (the manifest changes as expected), but the changes are not seen on my smartphone. I cleared the browser cache and WP cache, but the problem didn’t disappeared. Why this is happening and how can I solve it?

    Hello @radra,

    Good day and Thanks for using our plugin Super Progressive Web Apps.

    Right now there’s no option available to set splash screen timing on PWA.

    Regarding the issue of manifest changes that you noticed, can you please confirm whether you have uninstalled the Web App generated earlier of your website? If not, please uninstall the Web App first and clear the cache of the browser. It will surely works.

    I already did this:
    – first uninstall the old pwa
    – then remove all cache related to reumed.ro
    – then reinstall pwa (this time the webpage doesn’t offer to install the pwa. I have to manually create shortcut)

    I’ve tried to install pwa on a new smartphone and it installed the new, correct pwa.

    I understand that there is no simple setting to alter the splash screen, but I want to know who is responsible for that timing?

    Thanks for your quick reply. Once you cleared the browsing data on your website it should prompt the add to homescreen. I tried about 4 times on my mobile by clearing the cache and seems Add to Homescreen prompt is working perfectly for your website https://reumed.ro.

    Also I noticed that your website http://reumed.ro is not redirecting to https:// automatically. If you have visited the http://reumed.ro version, the Add to homescreen won’t prompts, because progressive web apps only supports upon https://.
    Please have a try on this again with https://

    Regarding the splash screen timings, it something what decided by W3C.
