Split approved/awaiting moderation comment notification

    I would like to send 2 different notifications. One for the administration when a comment was posted (that’s easy) and another for the author only when a comment was approved (that’s de hard part).

    How can I send this second notification only when a comment was approved?

    Thanks for your message.

    I agree, this would be great to have two separate notifications and it’s been on my roadmap for a while however, unfortunately, WordPress is quite limiting when it comes to comments and its currently not possible to split these notifications. I’m hoping this will change in the future however.
