Splitting within an order

    Hey,
    I was just wondering if it is possible to make Splits within an order, based on the availability.
    So for example you have activated backorders in your Shop and now you have a products which has a stock of 5 units.
    If you now order 8 Units you have a stock of -3.

    Is it possible to split this order into 5 Units that are directly available and 3 that are on backorder ?

    Dear Julian,

    This case has been already handled under instock/outstock method. So if you will receive order of 8 units while you have only 5 instock so main order will remain with 5 units and another order will be created with 3 units on-hold or any other order status which you want to set on split. Later you can get process that on-hold or pending order when you get items in stock. Have you already checked this screenshot regarding stock methods?
