    Hey there – having an issue where the ‘login with spotify’ link takes me to the login page where I sign in with Facebook. Once I hit ‘submit’ I get this error: 

    INVALID_CLIENT: Invalid redirect URI

    A LOT of people are encountering this (not necessarily with your plugin. Other plugins, too.) And there a lot of ‘fixes’ that don’t actually work. Have you encountered it and do you have a solution?

    As mentioned in the step 5 at the link, you need to save exactly the following URL in the Spotify developer console
    https://laurelanne.media/SuperSocializerAuth/Spotify
    If you still face the problem, post a screenshot here showing what URL you have saved.

    That worked… but now the shortcode doesn’t appear on the page for people who are not logged in. Previously, the shortcode gave the login option wherever I put it. Any ideas?

    Thank you for all your help with this. After it was working flawlessly several days ago, I suddenly get a 404 error after attempting login. Any idea why?

    When I login via Spotify icon from the wp-login.php page of your site, it redirects to the homepage without logging in. There might be some other plugin conflicting. You would like to try keeping only this plugin active just to confirm the same. If it makes any difference, you can activate other plugins one-by-one to detect the one conflicting. Once you find out which plugin that is, we can work on the resolution.

    Hey, thank you so much for spending your time on this. So I deactivated all the plugins except this one- still getting the general weirdness.

    This is all I really want –

    I have spotify playlists embedded throughout the site. I’d like people to be able to click the spotify icon in your shortcode, be presented with the login screen, then be returned to the page.

    I don’t want people to registed or login to the site with Spotify, just login to spotify so the playlists won’t be in preview mode.

    Make sense?

    Then it should be fine. I was not redirected to 404. Let me know the exact page of your website from where you clicked the Spotify icon that redirected you to 404.

    Not quite. Here, for example: Hot Music This Week – Laurelanne.media

    I try to login to a spotify account with correct credentials (and I know they’re correct) and the pop-up renders a 404 page. However, when I open Spotify in another tab, I’m logged in.

    If you enable social login icons, I would show you I am not getting a 404 page.
