Whenever a user, not logged in, attempts to post a comment, they get the error: “Error: please fill the required fields (name, email)” even if they fill in the name and email fields. This started happening today after installing WordPress 4.4. I am using the Canvas theme. All plug-ins are up to date. I flushed my browser cache, and the site’s WordFence Falcon Engine cache. No files are modified. Logged in users have no problem. I switched themes to 2010, and the problem persisted.
Here is my list of plug-ins: Ajax Edit Comments, Akismet, Avatars, Broken Link Checker, Easy Timer, Get Recent Comments, Hotfix, Impostercide, Limit Comments, OpenID, Quote Comments, Revision Control, SABRE, Subscribe to “Double-Opt-In” Comments, TPC! Memory Usage, Twitter Tracker, Ultimate Category Excluder, Use Google Libraries, Widgets on Pages, WooTHemes Helper, Wordfence Security, WP to Twitter, WPWidget Cache, WP-Polls, WPtouch Mobile Plugin, XRDS-Simple, Yoast SEO.
