SQL does not work

    The SQL query support is broken. Using an SQL query as the data source hangs the plugin (and the wordpress dashboard). The plugin cannot pull data from a database view either. Tables are presented in the drop-down selection, but not views.

    So if you have CSV data this has some nifty features. I particularly liked the column search capability. Alas, it is not up to production level at this time.

    Oddly enough I did in fact submit issue #22388 cannot-use-database-view-as-data-source and #22387 Database Source Option.

    I will say that the free version of the plugin was impressive. It was enough to get me to pay money for the database access. The fact that I can’t really get ANY of the database access to work was odd. Since it was clear from your forum that I wasn’t alone in this, I felt the need to post a review. At such time as we resolve the issue, I’ll be glad to adjust the review.

    I will second this issue. I can try to associate an SQL query with the table. I past the SQL code in, then click “Save” and the save never completes. In fact, my browser window basically hangs (page not responding) though the spinning dots on the “Save” button continue to twirl. Other pages have no problem. Sad since I just bought this.

    We are unable to reproduce this problem.
    It is necessary to carefully study the situation.
    Perhaps the problem is in the SQL query itself or conflict with other plugins.
    We are ready to study this problem.

    As for database view – there is no such option in the plugin.
    Perhaps you saw where there is such an implementation or can you signify your suggestions?
