• Ok here’s the deal.
Ive got this NSFW blog (softcore, no sexual handling) and I do not know if I am allowed to post the url here.
But everytime I view a page in Firefox the next error is in top of the post and still loading the post.

Warning: mysql_affected_rows() [function.mysql-affected-rows]: A link to the server could not be established in /home/admin/domains/<NSFW>.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 161

  • If you view the blog in IE, and View Source, is that error in the source by chance?

    yes it is.

it’s exactly above the Main Index Template. But only with pages, and not at the frontpage where posts are.

Can you try disabling plugins to see if the error goes away? That would help you determine if you have a “rogue” plugin.

If that’s not it, you might also consider re-uploading the content under wp-includes to make sure you don’t have any corrupted php files (make sure php files are uploaded in text/ascii mode, not binary!).

problem is solved by disabeling most of the plugins and only active the necessarily ones..
thanks for your help HandySolo 🙂
