Internet Explorer does not recognize the HTML5 download attribute. This is a problem with MSIE, not with File Away. To force downloads, you can try enabling stats, or enabling encrypted download in your shortcode. This will push the download from the server, rather than requesting the download from the client.

Sorry for not replying any sooner, i work parttime.

I did not understand the encrypted download, so I tried enabling stats. This did help, cause the browser now asks to download instead of auto-opening the file, so it looked perfectly!

But (!!) now I can’t import the SQL files in my software. It doesn’t recognize the files anymore. 🙁

Can you explain how I could fix this with encrypted download or is there a tutorial for this?

Hope you can help me out again, thanks in advance!

Right now, I use this string:

    [fileaway type=”table” theme=”silver-bullet” sub=”/fysio” filenamelabel=”FYSIOTHERAPIE” datelabel=”Laatst bewerkt” size=”no” iconcolor=”classic”]
