    Despite several attempts this simply won’t connect. I get
    #1. [abase2]
    Fatal Error (599)
    You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘-*****’ at line 1

    Obviously I have hidden the comment ‘-‘
